- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to produce accurate manufacturing instructions.
- Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials handling procedures.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to troubleshoot machining issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programming steps, machine setups, and production runs for quality control purposes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during machine operation, tooling changes, and assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software, or similar programs.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, especially for milling operations.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling for fabrication.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques including welding, assembly, and materials handling.
- Basic math skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations related to machining.
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with an understanding of materials flow.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required.
Join us if you’re passionate about precision manufacturing! We value proactive problem-solvers who thrive in collaborative settings and are eager to develop their skills in CNC programming, fabrication techniques, and mechanical design. This role offers a chance to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to excellence in manufacturing innovation.
