CAD - Design Engineer

• Experience : 2 6 years

• Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of automotive components using CATIA V5 Part Design and Generative Shape Design (GSD).

• Create Class-A/B/C surfaces and solid models based on customer requirements.

• Prepare 2D drawings with GDT and manufacturing details.

• Perform design modifications based on engineering change requests (ECNs).

• Ensure compliance with automotive design standards and quality requirements.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CAE, tooling, and manufacturing.

• Maintain design documentation and support design reviews.

• Required Skills

• 2 6 years of experience in CATIA V5 Part Design and Surface Modelling.

• Good knowledge of Generative Shape Design (GSD) and Assembly Design.

• Experience in automotive plastic, sheet metal, or cast components.

• Understanding of GDT, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
