CAD Designer

• Create drawings and models from written and verbal specifications given by supervisor
• Communicate with the Designer and Draftsman to identify any technical issues on the furniture design
• Study and provide appropriate wood size, foam specifications, bolts and other hardware, and other size proportions for the item design like seating openings and such
• Send the CAD file through appropriate Slack channel for checking and approval of detailed specifications
• Comments and corrections by Draftsman must be all followed for the revision, once done resubmit on the same Slack channel for rechecking
• Once approved, prepare for printing on the CAD plotter
• Give the printed CAD detail to the Draftsman for final checking, if there's still corrections, revise file as instructed, if no corrections, CAD print-out will be forwared to Production
• After the frame prototype is done in Carpentry, CAD Operator must measure all parts of the frame to check if it matches all the specifications on the first CAD detail, if not, follow actual frame and update the CAD detail
• After design prototype finished in Upholstery, measure the item again to ensure all sizes match after the foam were installed and the frame is upholstered, if inaccurate, update the CAD detail according to the actual prototype
• Once finished updating the CAD detail, send it to the same Slack channel
• Maintain an organized storage system of all CAD details, use a proper format for naming each files

Qualifications Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD and knows how to make detail specifications of furniture

• Creative and can easily grasp concepts, must be willing to be trained
• Willing to be assigned in Angeles, PampangaJob Type: Full-timeSalary: Php16,000 - 19,000 /month
