CAD Designer

Overview

Ever wanted to watch your designs come to life in stone? Join our small team at Olympia Stone and turn field measurements into the files our machines cut.

Pay: $24–$32 per hour, depending on experience

Job type: Full-time

Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Location: On-site, Indianapolis area

What you'll do:

• Clean up digital field templates and check them against the sales order.
• Review shop drawings from our outside CAD team and approve them, fix them, or send back markups.
• Program our saws and CNC machines in AlphaCam.

What you bring:

• Solid 2D AutoCAD skills
• You can read blueprints, drawings, and specs.
• Fabrication drafting background welcome (cabinetry, millwork, sheet metal, stone)
• AlphaCam experience is a plus, not a must. We'll train you.

Now and then you'll help other areas of the shop, which could mean lifting up to 50–75 lbs.
