Gulmohar Lane is a premium furniture and home décor brand rooted in craftsmanship, material richness, and timeless design. We are expanding our product range and digital presence, and are looking for a Social Media Manager who can contribute across physical product design and digital visualization.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer with experience in furniture design and manufacturing. The candidate will work closely with the Design Team to develop accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, and prototypes for furniture products. The role involves creating and updating CAD drawings, developing design concepts, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that designs meet production requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the Design Team to translate design concepts and briefs into accurate technical drawings and detailed 3D models.

· Create, modify, and maintain 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for new and existing furniture products.

· Develop furniture models, sketches, card models, and physical prototypes to support product development.

· Prepare and update design documentation, technical drawings, and presentations as required.

· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all drawings and design files.

· Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure designs are practical, production-ready, and aligned with project requirements.

· Maintain and organize CAD files, drawings, and design records for future reference.

· Complete assigned tasks within defined timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills

· Relevant qualification in Product Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field.

· Strong proficiency in CAD software and 2D/3D modelling.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to understand design briefs and convert them into technical drawings.

· Professional approach to managing deadlines, costs, and deliverables.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Experience in furniture design or furniture manufacturing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of furniture design, technical drawings, 3D modelling, and product development processes. The candidate must be creative, technically sound, organized, and capable of supporting the Design Team in delivering accurate and production-ready designs within stipulated timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
