CAD Drafter

Job Description – CAD Draughtsman

Position: CAD Draughtsman
Location: Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop fabrication and erection drawings as per project requirements.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA), shop, and detail drawings.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to incorporate revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain drawing records and revision history.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related field (Freshers can apply).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Quick learner with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MS Office is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) is an advantage.
• Ability to read structural and fabrication drawings.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience:

• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Salary:

• As per company standards and experience.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
