We are currently looking to hire a CAD Drafter to add to our in house design team.

REQUIREMENTS

o Minimum two year degree in Computer-Aided Design Technology

o Preferred 3+ years CAD experience primarily in Residential Construction

o Modular construction knowledge is helpful, but not required

o Construction experience is required

o Ability to work with a team

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Working knowledge of AutoCAD, currently 2021

o Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

o Possess good communication skills (verbal, written—including legible handwriting, listening, and explaining)

o Listen carefully and follow verbal instructions

o Comprehend and follow written instructions

o Effectively communicate with others

o Question and clarify items that are unclear

o Learn quickly from instruction, tutorial, and through trial and error

o Work with co-workers to complete tasks

o Familiar with construction codes (Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, ADA)-this is helpful, but not a requirement, as much of this can be learned/taught

o Able to research code books and reference manuals and apply as needed

o Able to utilize internet for research as needed

o Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
