CAD Drafter - Fabrication

C.L. Rieckhoff Co. is seeking applicants for the position of a CAD drafter/detailer for mechanical and/or sheet metal components.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Produce and revise accurate and detailed drawings of new and existing mechanical/structural components for shop fabrication utilizing AutoCAD and other computer software.
• Review work for completeness, accuracy and consistency prior to release.
• Work from written and verbal instructions/supervision on drafting and design tasks.
• Maintain organized electronic and hard copy files.
• Maintain a desirable work area.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

• AutoCAD software proficiency with experience in 3D.
• Practical knowledge of MS applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience in an engineering environment preferred.
• Metal fabrication with welding and structural knowledge a plus.
