Cad Draftsman/ Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Drawing Generation: Create detailed construction, foundation, structural steel, concrete rebar, and MEP layout drawings based on engineer specifications.
• Engineer Handoff: Translate raw structural calculations and design intent into clear visual schematics for site execution.
• Revision Control: Manage drawing revisions, redline updates, and maintain organized project CAD files and drawing logs.
• BIM & CAD Modeling: Assist in building 3D BIM models and extracting 2D layout plans, sections, and elevation views.
• Detailing: Prepare accurate structural connections, reinforcement schedules (BBS), and foundation anchoring details.
• Code & Regulatory Compliance: Draft all technical drawings, structural detailing, and layout plans adhering strictly to local building rules, drafting standards, and country-specific construction codes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsman Certification.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit (Structure/MEP), or Tekla Structures.
• Core Skills: Strong reading/interpreting engineering blueprints, standard drafting conventions, and geometric dimensioning.
• Experience: 2 - 5 years of drafting experience in industrial, commercial, or structural projects.
