CAD Engineer

We are seeking a CAD Engineer with 5 - 8 or more years' experience in pumps or rotating equipment to work in the engineering department located in Dubai, UAE to support our global pump business. For qualified candidates, we will assist with your visa sponsorship and relocation to Dubai, UAE

The CAD Engineer will develop drawings to support the engineering pump group.

Essential Functions:

• Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and shop drawings.
• Work with engineering to develop designs and part modifications.
• On occasion work with vendors to clarify and/or assist in manufacturing of outsourced parts.
• Process Engineering Change Notices and Non-Conformance Reports.
• Assemble drawing and traveler packages for shop-jobs.
• Reverse engineer castings using Romer Arm technology and High-Res software.
• Work with the hydraulics engineer to evaluate or modify casting models.
• Participate in production meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Five to eight years of previous experience using SolidWorks.

• Experience with machined parts and castings.

• Knowledge of GD&T.

• Pump knowledge is a plus.

• Surface modeling experience is a plus (for Romer).
