Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer to create and develop accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings and models. The candidate will work closely with design, engineering and production teams to support design and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Prepare detailed engineering, assembly and manufacturing drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design requirements.
• Prepare BOMs, dimensions, tolerances and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve design issues.
• Implement design modifications based on engineering and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
• Support product development, prototyping and manufacturing activities.
• Ensure drawings meet required engineering and company standards.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
• Understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in preparing BOMs and assembly drawings.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Experience with Creo, CATIA, Inventor or Solid Edge.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining or mechanical components.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA.

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering or a related discipline.
