CAD Engineer – New Product Development
Mumbai | Full-time | 7-8 years

Hettich is hiring a CAD Engineer to support new product development through concept design, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, FEM analysis and CAD automation.

What you'll do

• Develop product concepts and design mechanical products/components
• Create and optimize 3D parts, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA and SAP ECTR
• Perform FEM modeling, meshing, simulation and result evaluation using HyperWorks, Ansys or equivalent
• Support structural optimization, fatigue analysis and material-data preparation
• Maintain engineering documents and design revisions throughout the product lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for CAD automation using macros, scripting or PLM workflows

What we're looking for

• 7-8 years in mechanical design or new product development using 3D CAD software
• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) or ME/MTech (CAD-CAM / Machine Design / Design Engineering)
• Proficiency in CATIA; experience with FEM tools (HyperWorks, OptiStruct, Radioss, Ansys Workbench)
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and manufacturing processes
• SAP ECTR, Power Automate/Python scripting, or CATIA automation (VBA, CATScript, EKL) a plus

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
