CAD Engineer

About

We are looking for CAD Engineers with experience in the design and development of automotive components and systems using 2D/3D CAD tools, particularly CATIA V5/V6.

Areas of Expertise
Candidates may have experience in one or more of the following:

• BIW / Body Structures
• Interior Design
• Exterior Design
• Doors & Closures
• Product Development / Vehicle Components

Your mission

• Create, develop and modify 2D drawings and 3D models according to technical specifications.
• Design automotive components, parts and assemblies throughout the product development cycle.
• Ensure design accuracy, feasibility, interfaces, tolerances and manufacturability.
• Perform design modifications and engineering changes.
• Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing and project teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and project deliverables.

Your profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 3–12 years of relevant experience. Senior/Expert profiles with 12–18 years in technical leadership, domain expertise are also welcome.
• Strong experience with CATIA V5/V6 or comparable CAD tools.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or automotive engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and product development principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
