Vehicle Design / CAD Engineer

Building a lightweight, high-performance two-seater electric sports car from the ground up. The role is for a hands-on Vehicle Design / CAD Engineer to turn design intent into a manufacturable vehicle.

An early-stage role with broad ownership, working across vehicle packaging, 3D CAD, body, interior, chassis and engineering documentation.

What the role involves

• Develop and maintain vehicle packaging, layouts and 3D CAD models.
• Translate design concepts into practical, lightweight and manufacturable solutions.
• Work closely with vehicle engineering to integrate chassis, battery, powertrain, suspension, electrical systems and interior.
• Create detailed parts, assemblies, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Support prototype builds, fit checks, design iterations and production readiness.

What the role requires

• 3–8 years of experience in automotive, vehicle design, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong 3D CAD and mechanical design skills.
• Experience developing a physical product or vehicle.
• Strong understanding of packaging, materials, manufacturing processes and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and working with suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
