Role Summary:
Responsible for modelling, drafting, and supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities, tooling and equipment design, and project management within the Digital Manufacturing Service (DMS) department.

What Youll Do:

• Manage daily NPI activities to ensure manufacturability and quality standards
• Develop and optimize manufacturing methods (MOM) for new products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth project handoff from design to manufacturing
• Identify and mitigate risks in new product development and production
• Communicate with customers on technical and documentation issues
• Design or procure tooling, fixtures, molds, and equipment for new product manufacturing
• Collaborate with the machine shop for equipment maintenance and optimization
• Create and manage project timelines for NPI projects
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience in drafting and modelling
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• Knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and fixtures
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Knowledge of plastic welding and thermoforming
• Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems (Epicor)

Qualifications:
B. Tech in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
