CAD Operator

About the role

The CADD Operator is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD/CAD) software. The role works closely with engineers, architects, project teams, and other technical personnel to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD/CADD software
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, and construction details
• Interpret plans, specifications, sketches, and site measurements
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site personnel
• Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and documentation
• Ensure drawings meet project and company standards

About you

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related course
• Relevant CADD/AutoCAD experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or Civil 3D is an advantage
• Knowledge of construction drawings and drafting standards
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
