Job Summary

The CAD Operator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD/CAD software. The position supports the Engineering and Technical Teams in the preparation, revision, and documentation of project drawings and fabrication plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built plans.
• Revise drawings based on instructions and approved changes from Engineers, Project Managers, or Management.
• Interpret engineering plans, sketches, specifications, measurements, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineers and Technical personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Assist in preparing drawings for fabrication, installation, project implementation, and documentation.
• Conduct site verification or measurements when necessary and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Maintain proper file organization, drawing revisions, naming conventions, and document control.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, properly scaled, complete, and compliant with approved specifications.
• Print, plot, and release approved drawings as required.
• Perform other CAD, drafting, and technical tasks assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Engineering, Architecture, or related course.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of 3D CAD is an advantage.
• Knowledge of engineering, mechanical, structural, or fabrication drawings is preferred.
• At least 2 yearS relevant experience is preferred; fresh graduates with strong CAD skills may be considered.
