About the role
This role involves using OPTITEX CAD to convert and manage garment pattern files, ensuring accuracy against specifications and supporting production efficiency across pattern, marker, and sewing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Use OPTITEX to convert DXF/RUL pattern files from MD
- Check patterns against spec sheet, BOM and approved samples; name and file patterns
- Hand over patterns to marker team, verify markers and keep inspection records
- Support pattern sewing team, optimize patterns for production efficiency
- Check marker consumption; report any discrepancies to MD, PPIC and Planning Dept
- Ensure patterns and markers used in production are accurate
About you
- Proficient in OPTITEX CAD, familiar with garment pattern workflow
- Able to read spec sheet, BOM, understand marker and fabric consumption
- Careful, detail-oriented, good at cross-department communication
- Garment factory pattern/tech experience preferred
