Position Overview

Eagle Surveying is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our Construction Surveying Department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their CAD skills and grow within the surveying industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing construction staking calculations and field files.
• Create field packages for survey crews.
• Assist with QA/QC of drawings, coordinates, elevations, and staking files.
• Review construction plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and organize survey field data.
• Assist with preparing staking points, offsets, and surfaces.
• Work with project managers and field crews to complete projects.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Basic CAD knowledge or drafting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC) or Carlson Software is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read construction plans or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn construction surveying procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
