CAD Technician – Technology Systems

OTHERWISE Technology Group is looking for a CAD Technician to support technology projects across AV, networks, structured cabling, security, access control, and building systems.

This is a full-time position working Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time. This role requires your full availability during those hours and is not intended to be worked alongside another full-time job.

We provide the software, templates, standards, and tools needed for the role.

The position is a mix of CAD drafting, estimating, takeoffs, documentation, and project support. You’ll work with drawings, markups, specifications, equipment lists, and project information to help move work from early design through delivery.

We’re looking for someone who is self-driven, curious, and comfortable asking questions. You don’t need to know everything, but you should be willing to learn, speak up when something doesn’t make sense, and take ownership of your work.

We’re also looking for someone who wants to grow with the role. As you become familiar with our systems and workflows, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility across drafting, estimating, and project support.

What you’ll work on

Develop and update CAD drawing packages

Create floor plans, risers, rack elevations, details, and schedules

Review and incorporate markups and redlines

Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications

Help develop equipment and material lists

Support project estimates and pricing

Review architectural and engineering drawings for coordination

Use Bluebeam for markups, measurements, and takeoffs

Help maintain templates, standards, project files, and documentation

Support the team with other technical and project tasks as needed

What we’re looking for

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD

Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings

Experience with construction, engineering, or technical documentation

Good attention to detail and organization

Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed

Strong communication skills

Comfortable using Google Workspace

Willingness to learn Bluebeam Revu if you don’t already use it

Experience with AV, telecommunications, structured cabling, security, access control, electrical, MEP, networking, estimating, or quantity takeoffs is helpful but not required.

Canva experience is a plus.

Schedule and availability

This is a full-time remote role working with team members across the globe.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.

Candidates may be based anywhere, provided they can consistently work during those hours.

Because this is a full-time role, candidates should not be working another full-time position that overlaps with or interferes with this schedule.

Pay: Php12,284.68 - Php40,677.21 per month
