Cadet Design Engineer

About the role

Prepare detailed 2D/3D shop drawings for electrical and automation works, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Support the execution of minor design tasks or small project scopes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Coordinate with internal teams and participate in external communication with clients for technical clarifications when required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D shop drawings for electrical and automation works, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards
• Assist in handling project documentation, including submittals, material schedules, and as-built files
• Perform basic design calculations and provide engineering support for ongoing projects
• Support the execution of minor design tasks or small project scopes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Coordinate with internal teams and participate in external communication with clients for technical clarifications when required

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, ETAP, DIALUX, PlainSwift
• Solid understanding in control wiring, basic electrical/instrumentation wiring design, and schematic interpretation
• Proficient in performing Material Take-off (MTO) for project requirements
• Driving skills is an advantage, but not mandatory
