Cadet Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (licensed or unlicensed)

· Experience in fabrication or industrial set-up preferred

· Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and strong numerical ability

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings AutoCAD proficiency preferred

· Demonstrated leadership ability, intellectual curiosity, and academic performance

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently

· Ability to multi-task, adapt, and learn quickly

· Drive, motivation, and positive attitude (willingness to accept feedback, learn, and improve)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reports to Fabrication Manager and in his absence, Fabrication Engineer.

· CNC Programmer and Quality Inspector

· Set up, program and operate CNC programs to cut plates of different specifications, grades, shapes, thicknesses.

· Operates various machineries if needed.

· Operates overhead crane to place material on cutting table and unloading cut materials for next process.

· Able to read and interpret drawings

· Inspects materials using various measuring device

· Labels and cleans material for next work process

· Makes sure all consumables are available, request if needed.

· Performs regular Good Housekeeping Duties on his area

· Performs regular and preventive maintenance on the machines, making sure the machine good conditions at all times.

· Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
