Job highlights

• Experience withtwo-phase flow modeling (VOF),Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) and multi-cellregion problems (moving / sliding mesh)

• Preferred candidatewill be an individual contributor,working directly with global design andproduct development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery electric vehicles

• Experience withGT-suite / AMESim is a plus

• Good experience inAutomotive transmission and driveline (traditional and electric) systems.

• Experience withtwo-phase flow modeling (VOF), Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) and multi-cellregion problems (moving/sliding mesh).

• Develop CFD methodsand use of tools, to support new designs relevant to transmission anddriveline, as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing and quality.

• Should be able toidentify root cause of undesired outcomes from simulations and finding thereasonable solution.

• Thorough understandingof physics related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer.

• Hands-on experiencewith Star-CCM+ and ANSA.

• Conduct modelcorrelations for subsystem functionality verification

• Preferred candidatewill be an individual contributor, working directly with global design andproduct development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery electric vehicles.

Additional skills-

• Skilled in Preonlab(Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) will be considered as an added advantage.

• Experience withGT-suite/AMESim is a plus.

• Knowledge oftransmission hydraulic/lube system.

• Knowledge onTeamcenter will be considered as an advantage.

• Knowledge of Scriptingwill be considered as added advantage.
