Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Crash Performance Development Engineer to join an automotive engineering team responsible for the development and evaluation of crash performance for four-wheeled vehicles .

The role involves hands-on involvement in actual vehicle crash testing/evaluation , analysis of crash test results, and supporting CAE-based crash performance development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform development activities related to crash performance of four-wheeled vehicles .
• Participate in and support actual vehicle crash testing and evaluation .
• Analyze and interpret crash test data/results to evaluate vehicle safety performance.
• Prepare summaries and reports of crash development results and findings .
• Support occupant/crew CAE analysis related to crash performance.
• Identify crash performance issues based on test and analysis results and support improvement activities.
• Coordinate with design, testing, CAE, and other engineering teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to crash performance development.

Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of practical development experience at an automobile manufacturer or automotive parts manufacturer .
• Hands-on experience in crash performance development for four-wheeled vehicles .
• Practical experience with actual vehicle crash testing/evaluation or hands-on involvement in vehicle safety evaluation.
• Experience analyzing actual crash test data/results and applying the findings to crash performance development.
• Experience working with automotive development teams and interpreting test/evaluation results for engineering improvements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating CAE software , particularly: LS-DYNA, MADYMO
• Experience in crash simulation or occupant safety CAE .
• Experience correlating CAE results with actual crash test results .
• Experience with vehicle safety performance analysis and improvement.
