CAE Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, manage, and execute the virtual DVP across the full programme lifecycle.

• Ensure CAE analysis activities are delivered on time and to the required quality standards using Agile delivery methods.

• Integrate CAE results and recommendations into product design decisions.

• Manage programme assumptions, priorities, risks, and technical developments.

• Maintain quality through robust data management and control of engineering inputs such as CAD and NGD data.

• Present CAE status and programme progress to stakeholders at all organisational levels.

• Support physical validation activities and correlation between simulation and testing.

• Lead issue resolution activities and provide visibility of programme and technical risks.

• Act as the primary interface between the CAE team and wider stakeholders including design squads vehicle teams.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Essential:

• Project management and engineering task planning experience

• Strong understanding of Powertrain system design and analysis.

• Knowledge of electrified propulsion technologies, including:

  • High Voltage (HV) Batteries
  • Electric Drive Units (EDUs)
  • Associated Data required for DVP

Desirable:

• Presentation and Communication skills.

Education:

• Degree or equivalent education in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
