CAE NVH Engineer

Position: NVH CAE Engineer

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Osaka- Japan

Language Requirement: Japanese Language Proficiency JLPT N2/N3 (Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NVH CAE Engineer with strong expertise in automotive vibration and noise analysis. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in FE model development using HyperMesh and NVH simulations using MSC Nastran. The role requires direct interaction with Japanese customers and the ability to independently execute NVH projects from model preparation to result reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate FE models for NVH analysis using HyperMesh.
• Perform Modal, Frequency Response, Dynamic Stiffness, Transfer Function, Random Vibration, and Acoustic simulations using MSC Nastran.
• Conduct NVH assessments at component, subsystem, and full vehicle levels.
• Analyze vibration transfer paths, Noise Transfer Functions (NTF), and Vibration Transfer Functions (VTF).
• Evaluate design modifications and provide countermeasures to meet NVH targets.
• Prepare technical reports and present simulation results to customers.
• Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams for issue resolution.
• Interface directly with Japanese customers and participate in technical discussions and reviews.
• Support correlation of CAE results with physical test data.

Education

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
