Café All Rounder

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our small but mighty city centre cafe. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with daily operations in our café. This position requires a passion for food and hospitality, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items.
• Preparing beverages and serving customers responsibly.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £10.50-£13.20 per hour
