Part Time Role Available, Cafe All-Rounder
Honey Sundays - Herne Bay, Auckland

Love great coffee, acai, smoothies, and surf culture? Come work with us at Honey Sundays - a sunny, surf-inspired cafe and retail space in the heart of Herne Bay.

We’ve been proudly serving our community for just over three years, known for exceptional coffee, nourishing food, and curated goods from independent NZ & Aussie surf brands. We're on the lookout, ahead of our busy summer months, for another part time Cafe All-Rounder to join our small, friendly team.

About the Role:

We’re after someone with strong previous cafe experience who can work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment - while still keeping it calm, collected, and customer focused.

This role is approximately 15 hours per week, including Saturdays.

Our opening hours are:
Mon–Fri: 6:30am–2pm
Sat: 7am–2pm
Closed Sundays 🌞

What you'll be doing

• Taking orders in a busy environment while providing genuine, friendly service
• Making smoothies, bowls, and assisting with cabinet food to a high standard, with strong training provided
• Running coffee and food, assisting customers on the floor, and helping maintain smooth service flow
• Contributing to daily operations and a positive, supportive team culture
• Helping create the warm, community-focused atmosphere Honey Sundays is known for

• Experience working efficiently in a busy café or hospitality environment
• Strong initiative, multitasking skills, and a hands-on attitude
• A sunny personality with a love for great service and quality food
• Someone reliable, adaptable, and able to work well within a small team
• Interest in surf culture, coffee, or both? That’s a bonus
