Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods
• Manage cash register operations with basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
• Keep the café tidy by cleaning tables, counters, and kitchen areas regularly
• Support stock management by restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels to ensure smooth service flow

Experience

• Previous barista experience is highly desirable to craft quality coffee beverages with confidence
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are required
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed
