Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a positive experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items, following quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, counters, and seating areas.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure customer safety.

Skills

• Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of basic math for cash transactions and register balancing.
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food preparation and hygiene practices.
• Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and serve customers efficiently.
