Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food in line with menu specifications
• Take customer orders accurately and handle cash and card transactions
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Prepare and serve barista-style coffees and hot drinks
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the café, kitchen, and seating areas
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond positively to customer questions or concerns
• Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and restocking supplies
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support opening and closing procedures when required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and stock control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of, or willingness to learn, food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong time-management and organisational skills
• Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays, and busy periods

Additional Information:
Relevant in-house training will be provided for the right candidate. Previous café or barista experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 – 37.5 per week

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
