Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment
• Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills and handle customer payments efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and handling procedures
• Support team members during busy periods by serving tables or restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is highly desirable
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
• Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends
