About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and friendly Café Assistant / Party Host to join our busy team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Part time role with sociable hours, no late nights and a fun working environment.

The role is 16-24 hours per week over 2-3 days. As weekends are our busiest time, you must be flexible and willing to work most weekends.

We believe in putting the right people in the right place at the right time. Depending on your strengths and the needs of the business, you may rotate between:

• Working in the café and serving customers
• Hosting children's birthday parties
• Supporting the kitchen with food preparation
• Helping across the centre during busy periods

No two days are the same, so flexibility, energy and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and engaging with customers – making their day is your #1 mission
• Delivering fun and memorable children's birthday parties
• Becoming a confident barista – full training provided
• Taking orders and using the till
• Restocking and general café duties
• Pot washing and supporting the kitchen when required
• Communicating professionally with customers in person, by phone and by email
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the centre
• Working as part of the wider team to keep the centre running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hospitality, customer service or a kitchen is desirable, but not essential
• A friendly, positive and genuine “can-do” attitude
• Someone confident and comfortable engaging with both adults and children
• A reliable team player with good attention to detail
• Someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work most weekends
• Pride in delivering excellent customer service and memorable experiences for families
