Cafe Assistant/Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant and barista trained to join our vibrant team. Duties

• Must be Barista trained
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces.
• Support catering events by preparing food items and assisting with setup and breakdown as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient café operations during busy periods.
• Help manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of food handling and preparation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred
• Familiarity with catering or bartending is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of food safety practices is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others and contributing to the overall success of the café.
