Job Summary: The Coffee House is hiring a Café Associate to provide friendly customer service and support daily café operations. This role assists with beverage preparation, customer orders, food service, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient café environment. Common Job Roles

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and display organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized café, counter, and dining areas.
• Restock beverages, ingredients, supplies, and merchandise
• Operate coffee-making and café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support team members during busy service periods
• Perform additional café and customer service duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous café, restaurant, retail, barista, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing coffee and other beverages
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Experience operating POS or payment systems
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
