Cafe Barista / Kitchenhand

Kingsley Kitchen Cafe is a beloved and bustling culinary destination located in the heart of Kingsley. We take pride in serving delicious coffee and freshly prepared meals with a focus on quality ingredients and exceptional customer service. Our team is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences for our patrons, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Cafe Attendant / Barista to join our dynamic team.

As a Cafe Barista / Kitchenhand, your role will involve;

• Maintaining the Café's food selection and ensuring consistency throughout the menu.
• Preparing a wide selection of rolls, wraps, sandwiches, coffee and other cold / warm beverages for Café customers
• Maintain overall café cleanliness and sanitation, including washing and cleaning surfaces.
• Following food safety guidelines in order to assist in maintaining a safe and organized café.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Stock and replenish kitchen supplies as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience making a wide selection of coffee and other cold / warm beverages.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus but not mandatory.
• A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Our café is open 7 days a week so flexibility in the hours and shifts you can work is essential.
