About the role

Hedge Espresso is looking for a talented and dedicated Cafe Chef to join our passionate team at our cafe in Salisbury QLD 4107. As a full-time Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious and high-quality meals for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and snack items from our varied menu
• Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Assisting with menu planning and development
• Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as required
• Working closely with the front of house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What we're looking for

• Formal culinary training and/or experience as a chef in a similar cafe or restaurant environment
• Strong skills in food preparation, cooking and presentation
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A passion for creating delicious, high-quality food
• A positive, customer-focused attitude
