Cafe Cook

Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr + tips + company paid benefits

The primary objective of the Restaurant Cook is to serve well executed menu items, while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Execute menu items to the recipe specifications

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Have understanding of sanitation and proper food handling

• Able to follow recipe specifications

• Have knowledge of our menu

• Understand basic measurements and conversions

• Understand portion control

• Will support the FOH staff and execute changes to meet the needs of our guests

• Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent

• Be able to properly use all kitchen equipment safely and understand knife safety

• Experience in a restaurant kitchen environment

• Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language

• Ability to handle adversity in a casino environment

• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress environment

• Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino operational needs
