CAFE Customer Service Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and standard
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food preparation surfaces
• Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
• Manage retail sales transactions with accuracy while providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service

Pay: $9.35 per hour
