Cafe/ Gelato Worker

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Cafe/Gelato Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious gelato and café items. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve gelato, beverages, and food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including sanitizing workstations and equipment.
• Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining environment for customers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and Tost POS system.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register or Toast POS system is a plus.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or food preparation techniques is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
