Job Summary

Café General Manager is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Café General Manager to oversee daily café operations, lead employees, and maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, including opening, closing, and service activities
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate café employees
• Develop staff schedules and coordinate daily work assignments
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors
• Monitor sales, labor costs, operating expenses, and overall performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Address customer feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain customer satisfaction
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas
• Implement procedures to improve workflow, productivity, and service efficiency
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to ownership or senior management
• Support promotional activities and strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty

Qualifications

• Previous café, restaurant, or food service management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Knowledge of food preparation standards, beverage service, and sanitation procedures
• Experience with inventory control, staff scheduling, and cost management
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic business software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when required
