Café Manager

Good Intentions Coffee is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and support the team in delivering friendly and efficient service. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining service standards, assisting customers, monitoring supplies, and helping ensure smooth operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can lead by example in a busy coffee shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and help maintain an efficient service flow.
• Coordinate staff assignments and support team members throughout each shift.
• Guide and assist baristas and café staff with daily responsibilities.
• Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and customer service standards.
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and day-to-day coaching.
• Respond to customer questions and service concerns in a professional manner.
• Monitor inventory, café supplies, and restocking requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work and customer areas.
• Support POS operations, cash-handling procedures, and routine daily records.
• Communicate operational needs and service updates with the café team.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and company operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced café environment.
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory, and café operations is helpful.
• Ability to train, support, and work effectively with a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
