Café Manager

Elixr Coffee Roasters is seeking a dependable and organized Café Manager to support daily café operations and lead the service team. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining beverage and service standards, supporting customer service, monitoring supplies, and helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced café or hospitality professional with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and service activities.
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift.
• Support, guide, and communicate with baristas and café team members.
• Maintain consistent standards for beverage quality, order accuracy, and customer service.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching of team members.
• Handle routine customer questions and service concerns professionally.
• Monitor café inventory, supplies, and restocking needs.
• Assist with ordering and organizing coffee, beverages, food items, and service supplies.
• Operate or oversee POS and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked café areas.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience.
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for daily operations.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced café environment.
• Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and service details.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and café operations is helpful.
• Able to train, support, and work effectively with a team.
• Professional and respectful approach when working with customers and coworkers.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
