Café Manager

Herman's Coffee is seeking a dependable and organized Café Manager to oversee daily coffee shop operations and support the café team. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining service standards, monitoring supplies, assisting customers, and helping ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can stay organized and provide professional leadership in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and customer service activities.
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift.
• Support and guide baristas and café team members.
• Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and customer-service standards.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and day-to-day coaching of team members.
• Address routine customer questions and service concerns professionally.
• Monitor café inventory, supplies, and restocking needs.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing café supplies as needed.
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures.
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management.

Qualifications

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience.
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
• Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and service details.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures is helpful.
• Able to train, support, and work effectively with café team members.
• Professional and respectful approach to customers and coworkers.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
