Café Manager

Dam Good Coffee LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and support a positive customer experience. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining service standards, monitoring supplies, assisting customers, and helping ensure efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable leading a team in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and customer service activities
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow during shifts
• Support and guide baristas and café team members
• Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and service standards
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and coaching
• Respond to customer questions, requests, and routine service concerns
• Monitor café inventory, supplies, and restocking needs
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing café products
• Support POS operations and cash-handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and company policies
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management

Qualifications

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience
• Previous supervisory, team-lead, or management experience is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
• Good attention to detail and service quality
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures is helpful
• Ability to support, train, and work effectively with a team
