Café Manager

Coffee Zeit is seeking a dependable and organized Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and support a welcoming customer experience. This role involves coordinating team members, maintaining service standards, monitoring supplies, assisting customers, and helping ensure efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable leading a team in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and customer-service activities
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow during each shift
• Support and guide baristas and café team members
• Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and service standards
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and day-to-day coaching
• Respond to customer questions, requests, and routine service concerns
• Monitor coffee, food, packaging, and other café supplies
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing inventory
• Support POS operations and cash-handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and company policies
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management

Qualifications

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience
• Previous supervisory, team-lead, or management experience is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
• Good attention to detail and service quality
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures is helpful
• Ability to support, train, and work effectively with a team

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
