Cafe Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café located in Toronto. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Café Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Supervise and train café staff to deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Manage daily operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining the cafe and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
