Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00-15:00

Lead, Develop and Grow Our Café Offering

Are you an experienced Café Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Hospitality Team Leader looking for a role that offers genuine work-life balance?

We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Café Manager to lead our on-site café based at our Head Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take ownership of an established café and help develop it into something truly special. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, commercial awareness and strong leadership to enhance the customer experience and drive the café forward.

Unlike many hospitality management roles, this position offers:

• Monday to Friday working only.
• 7:00am - 3:00pm hours.
• No evenings.
• No weekends.
• The opportunity to shape and grow the café offering.
• A potential pathway into a permanent position.

Initially, the role will be recruited through our internal staff bank to ensure we find the right person and fit for the team. However, there is a clear intention to appoint permanently should the placement prove successful.

The Role

As Café Manager you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the café.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience for staff, visitors and guests.
• Supervise and support café and kitchen staff.
• Manage stock ordering and supplier relationships.
• Monitor sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer engagement.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness.
• Support hospitality and catering requirements for meetings and events.
• Introduce new ideas, promotions and initiatives to develop the café offering.
• Create a welcoming, professional and customer-focused environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has significant experience in a café, hospitality or food service environment.
• Has experience managing or supervising a team.
• Is passionate about customer service.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Is commercially minded and enjoys developing new ideas.
• Can work independently and take ownership of a service.
• Understands food hygiene, health and safety and stock management requirements.
• Is enthusiastic about helping to build and grow a successful café operation.
