Part-Time Café Assistant – Hummus Lebanese Café

About Us:

Hummus is a family-run Lebanese café, passionate about serving some of the best Lebanese food in Edinburgh. We take pride in preparing all our food fresh, using quality ingredients and traditional family Lebanese recipes.

We are a small, friendly and tight-knit team, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the Hummus family on a part-time basis.

You must be available to work on:

Mondays, wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

The Role:

As part of our team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of our café, including:

• Welcoming and serving customers
• Preparing our freshly made wraps and mezze boxes
• Making and serving coffees and other hot drinks
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming café environment

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and brings positive energy to the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working in hospitality
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Good punctuality and reliability
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a close-knit team
