Café Server

Location: Calvary Homes

CURRENT OPENING:

• Part-time (64 hours biweekly) | 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• Weekend and holiday rotation required

The Café Server is to ensure all café guests receive prompt and appropriate attention. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of table-service experience in hospitality, senior living, or healthcare dining; prior lead or shift-lead experience preferred.

• Strong guest service orientation with clear and professional communication skills.

• Proficient in the use of POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.

• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Acts as the on-shift lead for Front of House (FOH) staff; assigns sections and side work, and oversees floor operations to ensure efficient service.

• Monitors dining areas, promptly clears and sanitizes vacant tables, and maintains cleanliness in assigned sections.

• Responsible for opening and closing the dining room, including setup, cleanliness, table settings, ambiance, and proper resetting of the space.

• Maintains thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and dietary considerations, and ensures accurate labeling and signage are in place.
